Not entirely sure why anymore, but there you go. It turns out it is a little bit popular though. There was this fairly old video game I used to like. Some game where you solve puzzles of broken rollercoasters you have to fix. I wrote it with the beauty of the more extreme creations in Minecraft.
Gigantic statues, entire cities, paintings, people, all recreated in this game. Not sure if I succeeded? When I was still scared to embrace minimalism and simplicity in music. When I was still keen on making my music as crazy and varied as possible. Turns out there was no reason to have such a fear. At minute 7, the song abruptly builds up to nothing and fades away. Sometimes you just build. If you listen closely, you can essentially hear most of Volume Alpha embedded within.
Lastly you hear someone fixing it, and it starts from the beginning. Favorite track: Moog City. Many of the tracks in HD are a nice treat as they sound vastly different than they do in-game. Assassin Knight. Walter Toro. Raymundo Ibon. Ryan Parr. Samuel Mullins.

Key Door Subwoofer Lullaby Death Living Mice Moog City Haggstrom Minecraft Mice on Venus Dry Hands Wet Hands Clark MOM is a definite inspiration for me, and this album directly. The song started as a piano solo, but as game development went on, I added a kind of, uh, addendum to it.
A little cheeky piece that kind of says, Minecraft is also quite silly. We never actually did that in the game though. I wanted to give people more.
Slow buildup, slowly fading away. People seem to like it a lot! And with Minecraft, now we do know that this is not the last album and there is more to discover. I get a lot of questions on what Droopy says. If you want to give the album a listen, I embedded a little player on this page, for your convenience.
